Business Development Associate
Remote • Full-Time
About the Role
Denali Health is hiring a high-performing Business Development Associate to drive outbound growth across our clinical research sites. This is a fully remote role for someone who thrives on building pipeline from scratch and owning the hunt. You will proactively reach out to sponsors, CROs, and study placement teams to position Denali Health as a go-to site partner—opening doors, building relationships, and turning cold conversations into long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Own outbound pipeline generation: research target sponsors and CROs, identify the right decision-makers (study startup, site selection, clinical operations, feasibility), and run thoughtful, persistent outreach across email, LinkedIn, and phone
- Craft clear, compelling messaging that articulates Denali Health’s site capabilities, therapeutic strengths, and track record
- Book and lead introductory calls with sponsors and CROs, qualify fit, and guide opportunities toward feasibility and site selection
- Maintain a meticulously organized pipeline in CRM: log every contact, schedule every follow-up, and keep nothing from slipping through the cracks
- Coordinate internally with PIs, site operations, and regulatory so sponsor expectations, scope, and timelines stay aligned as opportunities progress
Qualifications
- Exceptional communicator: crisp writing, confident calls, and the ability to make complex capabilities sound simple
- Relentlessly diligent: follow up on time, close loops, keep your pipeline spotless, and ensure details never fall through
- Self-starter who sets the pace, holds themselves accountable, and pushes outcomes forward without hand-holding in a remote environment
- Comfortable with cold outreach: persistent, resilient, and able to move past rejection without taking it personally
- Fast learner who can quickly absorb therapeutic areas, protocols, and what sponsors actually care about
